I just ordered the book Le Cordon Bleu at home, not that I really need another cookbook I own a few ….
See in the past I have bought cookbooks just because of the pictures ( ever since I was a young teen)
I love to read but for whatever reason I can never read a cookbook I just look at the pictures take a quick look at the ingredientes (not really bothering with the measurments ) and voila another experiment gone wrong –I should know better afterall I did study Chemistry in University
I have always looked at cooking as an art –as something you can create following your own rules !! I guess even art must have it’s rules and proper techniques that must be followed
I want To Learn as best I can, following the techniques as explained, to read the recipes from beginning to end and then of course attempt to transfer the vision of the dish from my head to the table while mainting a job , 2 kids and the house
My true goal will be to inspire my children to keep trying and not give up. Hopefully when they’re a little older they will enjoy reading my adventures in the kitchen
